Kunle is an associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria with over 15 years of professional experience in Finance and Business Development, with significant expertise in Financial Control procedure development, implementation and evaluation with strong Working Capital Management skills. A builder and manager of result oriented multifunctional teams that includes Billing and Revenue Assurance, Treasury, Payable and Receivables, Credit Control, Inventory, Logistics and Tax Management, repositioning companies for profitability through driven leadership. He has been responsible for setting up accounting departments and functions in organizations and developing financial controls, Strategic Development at regional level for Financial Management interfacing with Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Customer Care and Technology for improved profitability.
He started his professional career with Olu-Junaid & Co — a firm of chartered accountants — in 1998 where he rose to the position of Audit Senior before joining Nigerian German Chemicals Plc in 1999 as accountant on bank transactions and reconciliation rescue mission. He worked as the pioneer accountant at the Synnergy Group, an oil trading and servicing company, in 2001 where he set up the accounting system and procedure.
He later joined Accelon Nigeria Limited as financial accountant in 2004 — a multinational, where he assisted in setting up the accounting system and procedure. He assisted the company through start up in 2004, acquisition by Dimension Data in 2008 and later became AGM Finance, a position he held till 2011.
Kunle's passion to support startups and companies in their early growth stages led him to supporting VURIN Limited (formerly Integrated Supply Chain Solutions Ltd), a dynamic wholly indigenously owned oil and gas service operator, as a member of the team that nurtured the company through 2,400% growth over a 7 year period, leaving as GM, Commercial Operations in early 2021.
He co-founded Kotrac Professionals in 2021 and he is presently the Managing Consultant of the firm. The clientele being managed cut across IT & Telecommunications, Real Estate, Oil and Gas and Manufacturing.
